FSU is in a dump of a town.
And has 1/20th the national appeal of OSU.
And has blown goats for 20 years.
Yet their NIL game is on fleek.

On PNuts optimism for next year.
For the most part I agree.
But think he underestimates the loss of 2 stud OT’s.
We took for granted how good they were.

One area of opportunity for next year is better luck or diagnosis of our injuries.

Can’t tell me that when healthy we aren’t the best team in the country.

4 plays into the season critical injuries began.

Lastly the one player I’m most disappointed in is JSN.
We beat Georgia if he plays.

He will need to explain to NFL GM’s how he missed the entire year with a non-surgical hammy.
Is it a toughness issue, a health issue that would be a huge red flag, did you tap out to save yourself. Red flags all.

As an FSU grad, their NIL game is nowhere near “on fleek”.

They did pool together a collective for him to stick around another year….FSU fans think they’re title contenders with him next year. Not saying they are, but in a weak ass ACC it may not be that far fetched.

The only NIL collective that is “on fleek” in state of Florida is University of Miami and John Ruiz. They have it cranking…..

Didn't want to create a new thread on potential OCs for 2023. But outside of possibly promoting Frye or Hartline, some guys from Day's past that might be of some interest:

Mick Lombardi(worked with Day at the 49ers in 2016)- current OC for the Las Vegas Raiders. Only been in LV for 1 season, and spent the last 3 in New England. He's led some very balanced offenses(heavier on passing). But has little CFB experience, spent almost his whole career in the NFL.
Jeff Stoutland(worked with Day at the Eagles in 2015)- current OL coach and Run game coordinator. AHC/OL coach for Alabama for their NCs in 2011 and 2012. But would he want to leave a 1st place team(though I question their realistic Super Bowl chances)?

Need Larry to ratchet it up or retire. The defensive line rarely gets enough push to sack someone on their own. Seems like we have the talent there with JTT, Sawyer, Hall, and others. Adding Williams and have seen promise from Curry.
Mike Hall played 16 snaps vs Georgia. Also the last drive of the game we had Cage in the game. I'm getting really tired of this approach we have to attempt to keep people fresh. You keep them fresh by not playing them vs inferior opponents.

It was the 4th quarter, we needed a pass rush and we had our worst defensive tackle in the game.

You add that to the 3 swing and misses at DE? Rough year for LJ.

Yeah don’t see how someone from outside is coming in.
We have 5 assistants on offense right now (Kee, Hartline, Frye, Alford, Dennis). I don’t see any of those 5 leaving.
We have 4 on D and 1 dedicated ST assistant.
Our HC is basically another offensive assistant.
We aren’t getting rid of the ST coach to bring in another offensive assistant.

Aren't they (NCAA) adding another position coach spot for schools?

Fair enough. I'm just wondering how it will work taking our OL coach and putting him in the booth. When he's had so much success on the sidelines with the OL

According to Austin Ward, Frye was hired with the promise that he'd get the coordinator position when Wilson left. So I guess that answers my question
