Next Generation Console News: Xbox One, PS4, Wii U

From the twitter of Microsoft's creative director. The 360 is damn near crippled already b/c everything needs an xbox live connection. If I get any of the new console's it will probably be the ps4.

Both companies seem intent on pissing off all gamers with stupid shit like "always on" or no reverse compatibly. For me personally, unless something drastic changes i'm going for the PS4, as I currently have a PS3 and like the Sony specific games, Uncharted, ImFamous.

Good tactic asshole. Piss all over the little people that pay for your crappy gaming systems and games. I am still not sure why this will need an interent connection. For instance, while deployed my Xbox became a morale resource for Rock Band, PES, NCAA Football, etc. I sure as hell didn't have any connectivity on JSS Shulla. Fuck this Microsoft dildo.

I really am not sure if I'll be buying the next gen console for a while. And if I do, I'm not sure which one I would get either. I guess it's a wait and see type of game I'm playing with Sony and M$

Same here. I was a PS1 and PS2 owner then switched to the 360. I waited on the 360 due to the RROD issue that I had to fix myself when I finally got one. I do the same for sports games to see if they have fixed glitches...looking at you NCAA 13 :(

Adam's twitter profile is now protected

The world I live in repeatedly shows that megapower EA is too incompetent and or cheap to handle intermittently online gaming and the greatest failure in game launch history when it came to always on.

Microsoft will reveal its next-generation Xbox at an event on 21st May, multiple reports have suggested.

The console will launch in "early November", seasoned Microsoft analyst Paul Thurrot has revealed. These details have been independently backed up by The Verge.

Named just "Xbox", Microsoft's machine will be "expensive" and cost around $500. A lower price $300 model will also be available with some form of subscription.

Regarding the console's rumoured "always-online" component, Thurrot reiterated what we knew already - that previous Microsoft design documents have mentioned the feature.
