Mine is not to drop $100 every Friday and Saturday night at bars in Chi-town. The other day I had this discussion with a friend of mine who lives in Chicago but is also from Cleveland. We were talking about how tits it was to spend next to nothing at Lakewood bars when we were home for Thanksgiving.
No joke, this was my bar tab:
12 Swedish Fish @ $3
2 Washington Apples @ $4
2 Cherry Bombs @ $5
6 budlight drafts @ $1.50
1 bottle of bud @ $2.50
1 bottle of miller lite @ $2.50
for a grand total of $68...
Kind of lame that I remember that, but when you're used to dropping $4 for a bottle of bud and drafts are minimum $3.50, those prices stick to you. I definitely took cheap booze for granted when I lived in Cleveland. I think I'm also going to ask Santa for a keggerator because I found out that there is a place in Chicago (Sam's Wine and Spirits) that sells kegs of domestics for $55.
