LSU is one of a handful of schools from across the country selected to sport the 2011 Nike Pro Combat system of dress uniforms for a game this season. Other schools include the United States Military Academy (Army), Boise State, Georgia, Michigan State, United States Naval Academy, Ohio State, Oregon, and Stanford.
The uniforms will hit the field on opening day of the 2011-12 college football season and throughout the year during some of fiercest rivalries in college football. Dates include Oregon vs. LSU at Cowboys Stadium (Oregon only; 9/3), Boise State vs. Georgia at the Georgia Dome (9/3), Michigan State vs. Michigan (10/15), LSU vs. Auburn (10/22), Ohio State vs. Wisconsin (10/29), Stanford v. Notre Dame (11/27) and the annual service academy bragging rights matchup between two of the nation's most prestigious football programs - Army vs. Navy (12/10).

I have to ask though..what the fuck Nike? If these "state of the art" uniforms are so great why aren't schools being provided with the technology in the normal uni's they wear already? This shit came out 2 years ago for christ sakes you can't really sell it as some ground breaking technology like you did the first time we wore them.

Purdue debuts new Nike unis.
A little plain, but a welcome change from the usual theatrics from nike.
A little? I'm against the hodgepodge of stuff Nike normally throws on their jerseys, but this is just the other extreme.A little plain, but a welcome change from the usual theatrics from nike.

I think this nails it. Those shoulder stripes did come to mind when I saw the plain unis posted earlier. The shoulder stripes are almost invisible other than the all black uni.OHSportsFan9;1964687; said:A little? Once again, the late 90's early 2000's had it right.
I don't get what's so difficult about copying that design into whatever modern technology may be being used.
And what is with Nike not being able to do metallic pants (gold or silver)?!! Those PU pants are just...blah.
