why can't I open the stupid "princess" thread or the one in the admin forum about updatees and stuff, I posted a question there earlier and now I won't let me back in. I click it and just stay right at the forum front page.

I am completely in the dark as to this bank stuff and points and what have you. I'm probably the only one so what can I say? How or what has to be done to gain more of these points and such. I have a whopping 100 to wallow in but I've seen others who have six figures. Is there a any information on this stuff anywhere?

edit: Just noticed that my points or whatever went up by .08 cents with this post. Guess this will cause me to think about becoming a post whore..................

This is stupid, I made that post earlier about not being able to open the priness thread, then I couldn't get back into this one......

Now I can, but only the second page, this is just dumb.

Best guess is that some javascript or XML changed from 3.5.1 to 3.5.4. You might try clearing your cache, or forcing a hard-reload of the page.

The problems you're describing are happening to others, but it seems to be a very small portion of the population. I can't reproduce it myself in either Firefox 1.5.0.1 or MSIE 6.0.2900. On the server side, there are no mySQL errors or hangs related to this (there does seem to be something related to people trying to change their usernames via the eStore though), no logged problems related to Apache or PHP -- so I'm not sure what else to think.

Even without a cache clear, if that's the problem, it will be just a matter of your system(s) replacing the old with the new, which usually takes somewhere between minutes and days when left to its own devices.

Another possibility may be that you have way too many points. Might try sending them to me, and see if that fixes anything. (j/k)

Any upgrade brings the potential of new problems. Best we can do is call them off when we find them, and do our best to squash them.

There's absolutely nothing on the site that would cause this sort of behavior by design, in case anyone is serious about eStore hexes. :)
