I think Husker Fan needs to come to a realization. When Nebraska was the potential new B1G member, we were all a-twitter with the realization that we could add a wonderful new conference member, loaded with tradition, ripe with possibilities to grow our league in myriad ways. When they were announced as our newest member, we were thrilled - I think all of us were. All the class and excellence embodied by Tom Osborne and his predecessors, combined with the fiery exuberance of former Buckeye Bo Pelini - well, this was a match made in heaven.

Now that you're a conference rival, fuck you, Huskers.

Just wanted to clarify things for the Nebraska fan base.

We're a pretty savvy fanbase, and we knew all this about a year ago. So thanks for the education and all, but you're preaching to the choir.

Believe me - we plan on giving you plenty of reasons to show angst. If we're a pushover on the field, we've failed utterly.

Utah and Colorado both dropped their Pac-12 openers, so it would be nice to see someone enter their new conference with a little authority. If that means that Bucky gets his face smashed in on Saturday night at home in Madison, then so be it.

You call yourself savvy?

[W.]Churchill] A truly savvy fan would have titled the thread "For whom are you rooting?" [/W. Churchill]

Somewhat of an inside joke around here.

Ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put.

This is not even a question. When you move to division play, it is always what helps your own chances to make it to the division crown - and ultimately the conference championship final. Like betting jai-alai, you always have a stake in each game - you root for whoever will hurt your opponents and/or help your own chances to win.

In this instance, the above doesn't even come into play for me. I'd love it if Wisky shit the bed for the rest of their eternity period.
