I've never in my life rooted for Wisconsin.

In the past I have rooted for Wisconsin. I all depended on who they were playing.

Wisconsin has been something of a nemesis in recent years. I dislike the way that they treat Buckeye fans when they attend games there. I dislike their attitude when winning. And, then, there's that cheese thing.

I'd like to see Wisconsin lose and for Ohio State to beat Nebraska and Wisconsin and win out.

The way that He intended it...

For me it's just something about their whiter than white fanbase. They're a bunch of dorks and whenever I meet someone from Wisconsin more times than not I just want to smack them.

I don't think I hate any team. But Wisconsin comes closest. Their fans didn't have a winning team before 1998 or so, and now they think they're an elite program. Win a BCS bowl game within the past 10 years before you can make that claim. (But you need more arguments to back it up.)

I didn't mind Barry Alvarez. Any dislike toward him was mainly because he had good teams. But Bert Beilema, or Bielema, or whatever his name is - he's just a thug. Telling his players to be offsides - WAY offsides - on a kick-off to run out the clock before halftime against Penn State. Then going for 2 when he's up 20+ points "because the card said so". If he had manned up and said, "I wanted to pound the other team (Minnesota?) into the ground," I would have said he's a jerk but given him credit for it. I'd have no problem with that. As it is, he's a gutless jerk.

But I can't root for Nebraska in a conference game. Put some time in the conference before you can win it. I may be rooting for a bunch of cows to shit all over the field before the game and have both teams stepping in shit all day long.

As big of a game people think this is, it really isn't very big at all. Both teams will likely be favored in the rest of their games. Both teams will be "in control of it's own destiny". They can re-match in the title game and the winner of this game can be the loser and too bad so sad go home.

I think Husker Fan needs to come to a realization. When Nebraska was the potential new B1G member, we were all a-twitter with the realization that we could add a wonderful new conference member, loaded with tradition, ripe with possibilities to grow our league in myriad ways. When they were announced as our newest member, we were thrilled - I think all of us were. All the class and excellence embodied by Tom Osborne and his predecessors, combined with the fiery exuberance of former Buckeye Bo Pelini - well, this was a match made in heaven.

Now that you're a conference rival, fuck you, Huskers.

Just wanted to clarify things for the Nebraska fan base.

Trust me, there is no confusion about this in our fan base at all. We know that most Big Ten fans are thrilled to have us, and we are certainly thrilled to be here. But come October 8th it's on. Until then good luck against MSU.
