Nebraska Cornhuskers (corn)

Any update on Burkhead? I'm hoping it was just a sprain, but I don't know if it was the same knee as his previous knee injury.

Sounds like he'll play against Northwestern. Bo isn't exactly a fountain of information when it comes to injuries, but he did say they'd hold Burkhead out of practice a little, then he should be OK to play.

In other news, there's this:

@ESPNResearch Ohio State-Nebraska on ABC viewed by 5.16 million people per minute, most-watched show on TV Saturday night.

Hey. We're the Buckeyes. People either love us, or love to hate us.

To Whom It May Concern (you know who you are):

Now that our game is over and the emotions have ebbed, it's great that we're back to being chummy and friendly again, but that does NOT mean there will be make-up sex. So stop PMing me about it.

Ugghh, yuck.

This should make all our Nebraska guests feel warm & fuzzy:

Best Bet to Bust the BCS:

Ohio University

I spent several days in Athens, Ohio, for a feature on Frank Solich and his Bobcats. And it was striking to me how similarly Solich's program resembles Nebraska's. His top assistants are all former Cornhuskers; he utilizes the redshirt as frequently as any coach in the MAC; and he has a flourishing walk-on program. This is a fun team to watch, and quarterback Tyler Tettleton and running back Beau Blankenship make up one of the best backfield duos in college football. I expect the Bobcats to run the table, win the MAC title and finish the regular season undefeated.

Typically, I would be gung-ho for the 'Huskers in a game like this...

However, my wife's d-bag brother-in-law had this on his FB page yesterday:

I am very excited for Ohio State. Excited that they will celebrate their unbeaten season on the couch watching football just like me. Maybe they will all go out and get a tattoo?

I've honored my wife's wish of not responding in kind (or taking it to a-whole-nother level on his fat ass). But I'd love it for someone out there to help me get my head back on straight about who I should be rooting for come this next weekend. I can't believe that I'm actually at "fuck 'em both" level. :shake:

Edit: forgot to mention for those not aware, my wife is from NE, and thus, fuckstick above is a Husker as well. Maybe I can get hortdog and knapp to take a short trip to Omaha and lay the wood for me.

Your brother-in-law or Bret Bielema... Go with the lesser of the two douchebags and root for Nebraska.

Geez. You would think watching his team bite the curb against Ohio State once this year would be enough for him.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping that Isaiah 63 had a 38th verse, but I couldn't even bring that up on his ass. And fwiw, the back story on that statement would take forever and a day (and a half rack). Needless to say, Senor Douche is full on in his religious beliefs.
