Roundtable: Is Nebraska Football's "High Character" Perception Hurting Recruiting?
BT: I think that Mike and Salt are both right. In this day and age, looking at all "the bad players Urban and the SEC recruit" and such, Nebraska would not like the distraction. And Salt is right, with as ADD as Nebraska seems to be about distractions, one big one like Hill's case is enough to get the attention off of game, especially in late October/November.

Pelini Pranks the Huskers
Giving up 600 yards to Wyoming doesn't augur well for the 'Huskers' season ...

LINCOLN — Be calm and fix the mistakes.
Nebraska coach Bo Pelini preached the positive in his weekly Monday press conference after NU’s 37-34 win over Wyoming. The Huskers gave up 602 yards and a school-record 35 first downs to the Cowboys, and Pelini said he watched the game film “into the wee hours” of Sunday morning because he wanted to see where Nebraska’s defense faltered.
“I felt pretty good after watching the film,” Pelini said.
