How could Frost be successful at UCF but fail so badly at Nebraska? I’m actually a little confused by that.
I’m assuming some combination of lack of local recruiting base and the B1G being a tougher conference than ESPN’s financial interests would indicate.
Edit: I guess he was only at UCF for two seasons and it looks like the undefeated season might have been a fluke as his only winning record as a head coach.
I do not envy them trying to find the answer at HC if they move on from Frost.
Two words to these fuckers: Frank. Solich.Dead program.

Not that he’s some God of coaching, or that he would have won national titles, or even that he could have stayed any more sober than Gary Moeller. But when they unceremoniously shitcanned him after a 9-3 season to chase the flavor of the month, they summarily killed Saint Toms entire institutional culture of winning in the process. Sorry, not sorry, I feel the same for them as I did when UNC basketball fired Guthridge after going to 2 Final 4s...fuck you, you got what you deserve.
Eichorst stated at a press conference that Pelini hadn't won "the games that mattered the most" against top-tier opponents despite having significant resources at his disposal.

Scott Frost is basically Diet Harbaugh. It's for when you want the Harbaugh Experience with less hype, less success, and less batshit insanity.
They’re turning.
I would hate to see it happen but if they were smart they would go after Luke fickell with a blank check. Granted LF is worth a better job opportunity but hell they need to at least make some effort
It helps that UCF is one of the largest schools in the country is in a city, state with better weather than Lincoln, NE. Can also draw from local talent, but it seems that they're hitting up most of the SE pretty hard. Nebraska is a tough pull for recruits, and its even harder when they're not winningHow could Frost be successful at UCF but fail so badly at Nebraska? I’m actually a little confused by that.
