Against MSU, Ohio State was a different team than what we saw in the first four games. Hopefully they will continue getting better since they have "come together" according to Meyer.

Based on this turnaround, I don't think the stats from the start of the year will how much bearing on how Ohio State plays this week. If they do and the team plays as uninspired as they did while putting up those stats I think we will be in trouble.

With the atmosphere the way it's going to be, I don't think that will happen.

To be fair then, you have to do the same to Nebraska (with your first two statements).

I'm confident we can stop the run, so Burkhead is a non issue to me. I want to know what we will do agaisnt Martinez's arm. I'm hoping our front four (easily the strongest unit on defense) will get enough pressure on him, that all the passes will be short and hopefully last week showed we are going to wrap up on our tackles.

16 lbs of pulled pork for the tail gate finishing up right now. Make homemade BBQ sauce last weekend (Memphis style). Plenty of beer for the day going in the cooler. It's going to be an enjoyable long day capped by a great game tomorrow night.

Go Bucks!!

Why do the start of all of your posts sound like the last 20 seconds of as the world turns?

And you know that because..........

Lol. If it looks like [Mark May], talks like [Mark May] and smells like [Mark May] then it must me Mark May.

I see what you did there... and I like it! Too bad I won't be able to watch the game. I don't have dvr and my family is all celebrating my moms last chemo treatment tomorrow night.

BuckDUBBS will become your best friend then. He should have a torrent file ready for download either Sunday evening or Monday, and the quality is excellent.

My first thought is this will be a higher scoring game than MSU.
We could just as easily lose it.
Do we have enough in the tank left after last Saturday? Can the crowd supply the needed "juice" to help?
Should be a much more entertaining game.

For some reason Ohio State plays much better in night games at the "shoe"
Is it a different home crowd for night games? Just a thought. Last year i thought we could win against a purdue away game and also at Nebraska
but we came up short for two various reasons. Basically we have alot of
returnees from both sides of the ball comparing to last years game at
Nebraska. Now that maybe we are a different team under Urban, that certainly could be a big boost for this game. But if we win this one i thnk
every game from now on will be harder and harder to win. So lets hope
for the best in this one for saturday night.

We're 7-4 in night games at the 'Shoe. I wouldn't say we play much better.

Hmm... I've got 8-3.

Losses being:
2005: Texas 25 Ohio State 22
2008: Penn State 13 Ohio State 6
2009: USC 18 Ohio State 15

And, even in the losses, I'd say they played pretty well. Ohio State was also the lower ranked team in each of those losses.

You're right.
