ND/Weis various topics

This isn't really relevant to the original topic but I just thought his expression was funny in this picture.

My god he looks like Dilbert.

Well, the first impression was that here was someone who might have an unfortunate weight problem but actually was a lot like Jim Tressel. Right values. Player and tradition first. Win honestly as a result of hard work. Work hard. Work smart. Win.

Instead, he has turned out to be a self-centred person who shows, in his moments of stress, a true side that is nothing like Jim Tressel and has none of those values. He runs others down, diminishing his players and the teams that beat him.

So, yeah, I guess there is a real contrast between first impressions and the Charlie we have come to know.

For me, all that's left from the first impression is the weight problem.

Let's just say there have been a few comments about "looks" in SB as well after AJ paid a visit to ND.
yes, the ND flamers have scurried around the message boards (including this one) making childish comparisons. Probably a bad idea to open that can of worms. OTOH, I'm not sure when it started mattering how linebackers look.

Frankly I could care less. Maybe he's not the most attractive looking guy in the world. He did a pretty damn good job shutting SB up, after his performance in Tempe. Maybe if ND beats us in a bowl game this year (which is highly unlikely) because 1.) It's a bowl game, and last I checked that wasn't good for ya'll, and 2.) You need defense to win games, and last I checked you didn't have that, either.
