ND 34, TSUN 38 (Final)

Floyd is without a doubt, without a doubt, the best WR that Cissoko will face all year and nobody comes close for a second. Nobody.

Wanna know what I take from this comment?

You don't believe that your team will be playing in a bowl that's worth a damn or in a bowl period this year. That's a lot of confidence there.

Btw, if you need me to show you the train of logic on how your statement ends up at mine; then feel free to ask. I'll even try my best to make it pictorial.

Waaaaale, it's been a long time since the Buckeyes managed to win less than four games in a season and I don't know what I'd do in such a situation, but slashing my wrists comes close.

Saturday was one hell of a come back for Michigan and for Big 10 football and I am personally glad to see it.

The Big 10 needs victories over nationally recognized programs and the Wolverines delivered. Granted, at this point in the season ND seems to be nothing like USC, but if the Irish had won the focus of mid-west media would have been on South Bend and not on the Big 10.

Secondly, the Buckeyes proved that they can play with any of the top programs in the US especially when you match this game up with the Fiesta Bowl.

They also proved that all of the final season rankings would be different if all the games weren't played in the South, South West, Far West.

Doesn't look like a punch to me. Just looks the the scUM player is getting up and turning his body and the ND player is just right there.

I hope you're joking. Or do you think that #8 for scUM just happened to swing his fist in an uppercut motion and connect with the ND player's jaw?

ND should have done it last year. I think the only reason he was brought back was becasue it was his recruiting class and he might be able to pull something off.

Probably the cost of his contract. Domers are wild about flushing this guy.

Charlie's just angry because the TSUN guy is better at disguising the cheap shot than his own players...

For this post, I'm going to assume you're in Ohio. Apologies if this assumption is off base.

Your name wouldn't happen to be Jonas Mouton or Rich Rodriguez, would it?

It definitly looks like an uppercut, no way he was just getting up and happened to hit him like that. He actually uses the guy to help get himself off the ground, so he knew he was there. Whats even funnier is the fact that 33 shoves the same lineman just before the punch, with the play clearly blown dead.
I'm not saying that dirty play doesn't happen, it happens on both sides, ND isn't exempt from it. I can't remember what caused Travis Thomas to go off in that Penn State game 2 years ago, but whatever may or may not have happened prior doesn't excuse that kind of unsportsmanship conduct. You do your talking by beating the guy legitly the next play.

Finally watched this game. It does seem like the new construction above the sides of the stadium have made it louder.

Were the Big Ten replay refs the same crew that gave TSUN the TD when the guy's foot hit the pylon but never landed in-bounds against MSU? I have no idea how they took away ND's TD if they only saw the TV replays. Inconclusive at best, and if I had to say one way or the other, I'd say he stayed in bounds.

If somebody got screwed up there, I'm glad it was ND. They also caught a bad break with Floyd getting injured on a hard surface a couple steps outside the end zone. On the last pass before they punted for the last time, Floyd probably would have made the catch due to better timing with Clausen. The frosh WR was open, but the timing was a little off.
