Ok, time to catch up on what has been said regarding switching teams...

Most likely I would cap certain conferences. Big 12 would be off limits unless one of those teams bolt. MWest & CUSA would be hard to add a team also since they have 2 teams in each. Overall I think 2 would be a nice cap (maybe 3 for conferences with divisions).

I would stick with a max of 2.

At the start we weren't sure how everyone would like to play alot of human games thinking it might slow things down. That hasn't been the case. So as long as everyone is ok with it we can get back to EVERYONE playing 2 human non-conference games. While that means in certain years the teams in the Big 12 could play 4-5 human games a year..

Not sure how I feel about this. While I'd like play different people every year it kind of is a disadvantage, especially with recruiting.

Beware about thinking you would recruit well in Texas. Freaking A&M owns every recruit in Texas and the only way TCU or SMU gets a Texas recruit is if A&M doesn't want him..

So does this mean you have stopped recruiting him and you are giving me the green light to get him??? I would appreciate that greatly since if he goes to A&M he would be a 2nd stringer barely making the special teams versus coming to SMU and being an impact all-conference performer as soon as he sets foot on campus.

im going to evaluate the situation Colorado is in recruiting wise then make my decision

if I switch ill probably go with a Pac 10 or WAC school since there are no user controlled teams currently in one of those conferences

FWIW, I won't be able to get my game in against Houston until tomorrow evening at the earliest. It's going to be a busy night tonight and early morning tomorrow, and by then I might just rest up and play the game Friday after work, but I'll try to get it in on Thursday.

So just to also let everyone know I'm still alive as well, since I haven't posted in like 7 pages and catching up this morning with everything that has gone on lately was horrendous.

Alright so I lied earlier and I decided to go ahead and play my game tonight, because I wanted to beat the shit out of Houston. And because I feel like it, I'm going to provide you guys with the game summary:

So from Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium we go:

4-2 East Carolina Pirates taking on the 3-2 Houston Cougars from Greenville, North Carolina. Player to watch in the game: WR Dwayne Harris for ECU.

1st Qtr
DJ McFadden 8 yard TD pass to Dwayne Harris (Harris breaks school record for most career pass receptions - one week after breaking school record for most career TD catches)
Pirates 7 Cougars 0
Next offensive possession, Dwayne Harris breaks school record for most career pass reception yards)
Next play, Norman Whitley rushes to the right for a 33 yard TD
Pirates 14 Cougars 0

2nd Qtr
Next offensive possession 12 play drive is capped off by a 4 yard TD pass from DJ McFadden to Joel Doucette
Pirates 21 Cougars 0
Next drive Cougars bend but don't break the Pirate defense and make a 36 yard FG
Pirates 21 Cougars 3
Next play after the kickoff, Norman Whitley hits his hole perfectly and goes 73 yards for the TD giving him 166 yards before the half
Pirates 28 Cougars 3

3rd Qtr
First drive of the 2nd half, the Pirates convert a 3rd and 12 for a 28 yard TD pass from DJ McFadden to Dwayne Harris, Harris running for 23 of those yards
Pirates 35 Cougars 3
After a hurried and very terrible pass from McFadden off his backfoot, the Cougars intercept the ball and on the next play get a 14 yard TD pass from Keenum to Hinton
Pirates 35 Cougars 10

4th Qtr
A couple of possessions and the Pirates theme song later the Cougars take advantage of the usual Pirate meltdown going 25 yards from Keenum to Hinton again to make it an 18 point ball game
Pirates 35 Cougars 17
After the usual severly inefficient 2nd half by the Pirate offense, the Pirates are able to squeak out the victory
Pirates 35 Cougars 17 Final

Final notes of the game:

Norman Whitley's 73 yard TD run was voted as the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the Game
Norman Whitley finishes as the Player of the Game for the Pirates as he rushed for 216 yards off of 22 carries for 2 TDs
DJ McFadden completes 18 of his 28 passes for a mere 231 yards and 3 TDs
The projected Player of the Game, Dwayne Harris catches 7 passes for 89 yards and 2 TDs
Dekota Marshall makes 10 tackles defensively with 1 sack
