Hopefully this is the case for me also. I just needed heroics to beat Colorado. They are a really good team, 86 overall and 93 offense. How they don't beat any CPU teams amazes me.

So back to the game. I was down 28-14 at the start of the 4th. Punch in a quick score right away. Get the ball back on D, drive down the field and score. So its 28-28 with about 2:45 left. Colorado drives down the field and scores a fucking touchdown with about 1 minute left. Im so fucking pissed off. I return the kickoff 100 yards to tie it up! 45 seconds left, Colorado gets a couple good plays and is at midfield. Hawkins (Colorado's QB) decides to run, he gets lit up and fumbles the ball. I pick it up and get to about the 35 yard line with 10 seconds left. Well it goes to review and they say his knee was down, bullshit. Game goes to overtime. Colorado gets the ball first. They get to about the 4 yard line when they throw it out in the flat, picked off.

Oklahoma State kicks the FG and avoids the upset.

Yeah, I wish I had a different team now that there are 2 others in the state of Texas. *sigh* when I picked SMU I was the supposedly last guy to pick and was the only guy in Texas. Now I am 3rd fiddle :( I so wish I picked the other team I was debating about being.

So, I do understand where you are coming from. I have nothing against it, but then it would be one of those things where we should open it up for anyone to switch teams if they would like. So that would mean input from everyone.

So in other words... discussion time :biggrin:

Which RB are you referring to? As for lining up WR in the backfield, its because I need RB's in this league.:wink2:

I won't throw any fits if people want to change teams. Outside of maybe having a max of teams per conference? I am not really that concerned about that either, but we do have the other league where we're all in the same conference.

I'm fine if everybody else wants to change teams. Playing as Army is fun sometimes, but it won't be fun at the Heisman level at all.

The one from PA whose top 3 are Pitt, BYU, and Army. I'm having enough trouble going against Pitt. I don't need your Mormon trickerations getting involved. :pissed:

I vote yes for allowing team changing

depending on how much the computer wrecked Colorados recruiting I may want to change

They are a really good team, 86 overall and 93 offense. How they don't beat any CPU teams amazes me.

that amazes me as well, especially them not being able to beat Miami of Ohio

Well fanatic, I've simmed it about 10 times and you grabbed Turner from me twice......with Piney in the mix, it's a toss up I think!

Anyway, I am pretty much banking my recruiting on him......I have some backup plans.....but as soon as he is signed (if by me) I drop everyone else off the list! Which is good for Piney, and perhaps you, but I don't think our other 3/4 star tailbacks even register on your radar!!!

He is a soft verbal now, but my concern is he still his visits to you coming up shortly right? I have 5 RB's I have targeted with one of them (Downs) going to MSU, he has them in the lead big IIRC. So I need 2 of the 4, would love to get the 3 of them.

I've changed up my strategy this year and so far it seems to be working, but only time will tell. I knew scheduling visits real early was a risk, but I also didnt want to put it off until wk 11 or later because most of the big time recruits I was in on already had there interest real high at the beginning of the season.

Ye have little faith in the rich affluent SMU alums who love meeting and shaking hands of important recruits :biggrin:

If many $100 bills are in those hands that shake... well, I know NOTHING!

Recruiting went well this week. I didn't get any hard commits but I did get 3 more 5* verbals :banger: and am have a big lead on about 5 more. Piney, good luck with the #1 athlete.

I just finished up my game and only Piney was left to get his game in. Piney and Iron had to finish recruiting. Looks like it's going to be a quick advance. I ended up beating Iowa State 100-3 but the Heisman front runner Joe Griffin only had 200 yards in limited action.

I've been thinking a lot about this too. The Big 12 is going to really suck when BM11 comes back. We really don't get to play anyone except the other user controlled Big 12 teams. I'm all for changing teams if thats what you want to do.

I received a hard commit from a 4* (4th rated) QB and a 4* T. I got a soft verbal from the #1 player in the country which is a DT. I'm trying like hell to land a Punter who runs a 4.22 and I'll fake punt the hell out of whoever I'm playing, lol. Too bad I'm not in his top 10 yet. But as many 5* RB's aTm has landed these last few seasons, he should just leave Downs the hell alone and let me continue to lead for his services. I just paid the mortgage on his mom's house for a whole year, he better bring his ass to M$U

I dont leave until Thursday early early morning. So if advanced before tomorrow night I will be able to play and that would leave the weekend to get this week in, and then if advanced on Sunday I will play the next weeks on Tuesday when I get home. I wont hold up the league that way.
