I just ran a quick simulation and anyone can redshirt a player, after the preseason, by removing that player from their depth chart before they play their game in week 1. So I'm going to go ahead and advance to week 1.buchtelgrad04;1394212; said:Hopefully soon. I'd hate to have to call in a bomb threat just to advance a video game.
But yeah....it's that important.
Advancing now. You can accept the invite when you get home. Setup your recruiting, and take care of your depth chart for redshirts. Just make sure to do all that before you play your game against Arkansas.Bleed S & G;1394214; said:Fuck if I know. Bleed, If you have any questions about how to redshirt players after the season has started, send me a pm, but it really is as easy as removing them from your depth chart...that includes returners and kicker/punter depth chart.
Just remove them. There is no "Redshirt" option once the season starts. Make sure that they are completely removed though. If it's a RB, WR, or DB. Make sure they are not on their positional depth chart, and not listed as a punt or kick returner. If they are a QB, make sure that they are not listed as a third string punter or kicker. If they are DL or LB. Make sure that they are not listed as your 5th defensive tackle...I think you get the idea.Bleed S & G;1394222; said:Ok cool - glad I'm not holding anyone hope.
So basically, just remove them from the depth chart? Or do I need to remove them and then "redshirt" them?
I wasn't sure that you could in this year's version. I've done it accidentally in past versions of NCAA Football, and figured I'd test it out to get things moving while Piney Dynasty is hitting some no action weeks for a lot of players. So I ran a quick sim, and the RB that I removed, after advancing to week one but before any games were played, got his redshirt.Smooth Olaf;1394235; said:I never knew you could do this. Sneaky sneaky.

Lost 45 - 28. I don't know what happen to tackling but every time they caught a ball, they broke 4 tackles. It was pretty stupid. Oh yea, and did I forget to mention, I must of had 15 drops, at least!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't catch a ball no matter how open i was.
Finally, Juice Williams goes out in 1st quater, out for 4 weeks. It is going to be a LONG YEAR!
