NCAA09 PS3 Big Ten-Pac Ten Dynasty (Official Thread)

I just played a game with these sliders. UCLA @ BYU. It was a fun game that came down to the wire, but I do recommend upping User Catch and User RB Ability a little. I had too many easy drops, and I finished the game with less than 2 yards per carry.

Yeah, those are still raw and why I want people to try them out (so we can tweak them where needed). These most likely will be the sliders (or close to them) for the other dynasty (which I will post there now, with the tweak to RB Abilty and Catch which I was thinking of doing anyway)

If you liked these then I'll put them in for week 1, but add 5 points to RB ability and WR Catch Ability. I just don't like having RB ability below 50. It feels like running in quick sand. Speed should be a part of the game...a big part. But not the only part like it is now.

With Heisman settings and these sliders. I'm not sure that USC, Ohio State, or Penn State lose more than 3 games this season. Maybe in following seasons, but I know the last time I started a dynasty with tough sliders, there were a lot of human players getting blown out against top teams.

I'm actually considering backing off on the strength of some these OOC games, to give everyone a chance to win 6 games, and to give everyone their token patsy to blow out.

I think Heisman is the way to go. I like the sliders but am a little nervous about making RB ability to high (50 seems about max).

I would rather have a tailback get under 100 yds then over 200 any day. I would like to get it back to 200 yds rushing is a great game.

Don't worry bout my schedule though. I should still be cool with these heisman sliders with the team I am.

Yeah, but they're Stanford and have a shitty owner, so....

And this is another reason why I am cool with my schedule, Stanford will be an easy win for most of the guys in the Pac 10 :wink2:

I agree, and what I plan on doing is starting at 50 and backing it down gradually as recruiting takes over. What I don't want to do, in season 1 especially, is handcuff teams.

Still at work.. do I need to do anything other than accept the invite? I can have a roomie do it for me if thats all...
Set redshirts is all that has to be done. You can setup your recruiting board, but since you can't make any calls in the preseason, you can just do that and depth charts in week 1.
