How, if at all, is this going to effect Coach Experience and Coach Prestige? Won't this reset our records every year to 0-0 and look as if we are first year coaches?
I didn't think about that. Did it adversely effect those things when Piney's Dynasty crashed? I don't think that it effected mine, as I'm rated Great or Excellent for both of those with Kentucky. Pragram Stability is also Excellent with Kentucky.

I kind of like the players leaving portion of the game. To me, that's a huge part of the game and recruiting. For example, if I recruit 5 FS in a class a couple of them are going to get pissed and transfer.

Seems like a lot of work as well. Just my 2 cents

I didn't think to compare YOY comparison, but noticed record and integrity were reset.

The main reasons that I'm considering this are these:

Selfish reason:
I will lose at least two (likely to be 3 or 4) guys that started all season as true freshman. All of which are likely to transfer to Divisional rival Northern Illinois. All of the promises made were fulfilled and then some. That's not part of the game. That's not even remotely realistic.

Unselfish reasons:
1) I am not the only one that may lose multiple impact players with no chance of talking them into staying. In season one, I was the only one to lose any players, and all those players situations were fairly realisitic. The two that went pro had great seasons, and the one that transferred was buried on the depth chart. That made doing this entirely unnecessary.

2) With the exception of Piney, no one has done particularly well with recruiting this season, and the exodus of impact players will greatly effect the overall competitiveness of everyone's teams.

3) Once I found out that 'mania was going to get back online I was going to wait to start recruiting anyway. The extra work is work that would be on me to take care of in the time that we were going to be down anyway.

I'm cool with it either way. I agree that waiting on 'mania makes sense. It will make it more fun for him starting a season with his recruiting class

how do you know that you're losing players....and how do you know where they are going?

Converting to offline Dynasty and playing it through that way. The code doesn't change so the variables should lead to the same outcome
What Basebuck said. However, the results do differ each time I do it. I usually try to work out worst case scenarios, but every single time that I've simmed it, at least two of these players were leaving and going to NIU.

Were other players losing anyone significant?

So... since you are all knowing. How many guys will I be losing this offseason? As that will totally affect my answer :wink2:

Ummmm, it is the middle of the season? How the fuck do you know they are transfering? And to know they are transfering to Northern Illinois???? Something just seems fishy? Oh wait.. I need to read the stuff I quoted above, eh? But they are transfering cuz they say you broke promises that you say were fulfilled? How did that happen? Or is it one of those "They were my 2nd string RB/QB that I play all the time but they just don't 'start' but they get tons of playing time" Not Wood's fault he lost those recruits in the first place cuz you tried to cash checks that your mouth can't cash

I am actually having a pretty shitty recruiting season. I lost the #4 recruit in the nation, and failed in my attempt to get any top 100 player. My highest rated player is #96 and he probable won't even be the best recruit I get at that position, a 400ish rated recruit will probable be better.

I just lost 5 critical recruits the last week of the season and will have to scramble in the offseason to fill some spots. AND I have to reverse another 6 Soft verbals to get a full class.

So how the FUCK am I having the best recruiting season of you guys? You guys must really suck. :wink2:

This I totally understand. We will have a 2-3 day break and a perfect opportunity to at least try it out. Worst case it is a clusterfuck and we just reload the backup file someone that isn't me will have to keep. AND if Iron gives me some decent news regarding this (and it really doesn't affect the recruiting stats that much) we might do it in my Dynasty.

And who cares if the Exp, Stabily & Coach Prestige reset. Oh wait... I started with these being Great or better to begin with...
