I'm not sure how much taking it offline will help. Lord knows that in my Buckeye Dynasty, I cheat like a [censored]. After the bowl game, I save the season before I advance. That way, if I can't keep the players I want, I just reload the game. Yes, it's cheap, but damn it, I wanted four years out of Beanie and Pryor. Anyway, point being, the players leaving list changes every time. The first time I advanced, I could talk Beanie into staying. After I reloaded the game, he wasn't even on the Players Leaving list.

I never could talk Sabino into staying after his RS Sophomore season, though. :(

Going offline helps because you can actually give it a shot to talk them into coming back. There is a glitch with online dynasties that no matter how much you try, or even if they tell you they will stay, they are still gone.

As far as loading it as many times as I can to get the results I want. That's why I wasn't going to save the dynasty until after we reach the players leaving screen AND that's why I was going to have someone else (likely Basebuck or BN27 since they seem to trust me the least) save the file too. Someone else saving the file before I retire the dynasty not only serves as a good back up should the unforeseen PS3 failure occur. It also keeps the commissioner honest, or at least lets everyone realize that he's not cheese dicking the system.

So of course I had to sim to 'players leaving' to see what the hubbub is...

GO OFFLINE IRON! DO IT DO IT DO IT!

Jesus christ... I simmed it like 4-5 times and I have had as little as 2 and as many as 5 freshman (who all started) want to transfer out. And in one case my only 2 TEs on the roster (and I am not recruiting TEs) both wanted out (I can understand one TE wanting to leave since I promised him to playing time but he started the whole year?).

And looking at the other teams... well let me just say Buchtel would be SUPER pissed off as his stud frosh RB & WR who broke all of his school records also want to transfer out. Also Fanatic... Morgan is your stud QB right? He even wanted to transfer out.

For Whobe... in all the sims I did your guy Geter never left once. So you can rest easy there... LOL, too bad I'm not the official simmer.

But every team seemed to have 2-3 freshman transfering out. Only like 2 teams weren't affected (NIU & Toledo)

So yeah... Iron... GO OFFLINE!

I dont pay my players. Which is why Northern really sucks. I simmed over the weekend, which is why I know about me getting some really good transfers. My team is in a heap of trouble next year.

SMU pays for its players, Ohio doesn't :wink2:

But I get why Iron was pissed. I brought in 3 freshman last year that I knew would start from Day #1 so I promised them playing time. All 3 started the whole year. 2 of the 3 naturally would have started, only one needed intervention but he was just 2 pts 'worse' than the starter but he had 93 speed vs 88 for my user controlled SS.

So I know for a fact that all of these guys started the whole year. And they all want to transfer out? Yeah, I would be pissed too.

But Wood, I would still count on getting 1-2 of those initial transfers. Cuz no matter what I did, I could never keep ALL of the guys that wanted to leave.

I have finished my game and I was very impressive. 73-13 win over Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.

I am advancing to the offseason now. I will be leaving the online dynasty up until I am finished with all of my offline work. After that is finished I will retire the dynasty and send out new invites to everyone. Anyone/everyone please save the dynasty now...just in case.

Good call. I spent 4 hours and 35 minutes on my guys. You spent 15 minutes. Same result. All of them are staying.
