Sorry guys. No go on the advance tonight. 28-24 Illinois over MSU with 17 seconds left in the first half, and we got disconnected for the second time. Both of us have to get to bed, so we're going to play tomorrow around 6 PM EST. We should advance after that...if we can ever get the game in.

HOLY SHIT!!! What a crazy game.

Whobe had me dead to rights in the first half. It was 21-14 Illinois, with me driving to score again in the second quarter, and Whobe intercepts a pass in the endzone and returned it 108 or 109 yards for the TD. 28-14 Illinois.

I immediately throw another pick and Whobe ends up driving the ball down my throat for another score. 35-14 Illinois.

I throw an 80 yard pass for a score with 1:09 left in the half, and I'm getting the ball back to start the second half 35-21 Illinois.

Whobe has enough time to drive down and score a FG as the half expires though. 38-21 Illinois at halftime.

I get the ball to start the second half. Go a minute and a half drive and score a TD. 38-28 Illinois.

Whobe takes two more minutes to score his final TD. 45-28 Illinois.

I score a TD with two seconds left in the 3rd quarter. 45-35 Illinois.

Whobe returns the kick to the 41 but has to settle for 39 yard FG. 48-35 Illinois.

I go on another 90 second drive and score on a 21 yard pass. 48-42 Illinois.

Whobe lines up for the onside kick, but with 2:40 left and all three timeouts, I kick it deep to the open spot on the field. Benn gets the ball, only manages to get between the 20 and 25 yardlines.

First three and out of the ball game for the MSU defense, and Whobe punts.

I still have one TO left.

Several passes, and a couple of runs later, and I am on the 1 yard line. Just called my last TO with 3 seconds left. QB sneak for the win. I didn't feel too guilty using the sneak since Whobe hit me with it twice earlier in the game.

2 seconds left, and I kick the ball short to an up man. The clock expires before Whobe can dive forward to stop the clock.

MSU wins 49-48 in the craziest comeback that I've ever had.

Exactly HOW does one audible from regular kick return to onside kick return and vice versa?

Square then 'X' to audible from regular to onside return. (definite)

Square then square, circle, or triangle to audible from onside to regular (I think)

Yes, he should have, but Bly doesn't have the arm strength to complete that hail mary anywhere near the endzone.

I will be home Friday and then the movers come and pack up my house on Monday and Tuesday and then drive to South Carolina Tuesday/Wednesday. I have no idea when the moving truck is going to drop off my stuff, so I dont know when I'll be consistently back on. Any chance we get to the MSU/PSU game this weekend?

Hard to say. Piney has back to back human games. Even if He and I can get our game in tomorrow night, he still has to find a time to play Whobe before we advance to week 13 and the MSU-PSU matchup. Everyone else plays against the CPU in weeks 11 and 12, so that shouldn't be a problem. Especially since Piney's dynasty is finished.

Time for us to play? Figures it is NBA draft night. But I dont' see why I can't play tonight as I spent time with the woman last night so I can bail on her early tonight :wink2: anytime after 8pm. (I can maybe get on as early as 7:15 if need be)
