Anyone ever get called for roughing the passer??

I get called for it occasionally. It happens the most when I dive for the QB, land, and come almost completely to a stop... the QB throws, steps into it, and trips over my body still sliding a whole inch forward.

In last year's UCLA v. Oregon game (when Piney still had Oregon), I crushed Piney's QB late. Hell, I hit-sticked him. Piney rolled him out to the right and was waiting for his receiver to get open in the endzone. I thought my best shot to stop this would be to get to the QB before the receiver gained separation. I took control of a LB in zone coverage, sprinted, but Piney threw the ball before I got there. I thought, "Fuck it," and hit-sticked the bastard. Oregon scored (damn it), the QB got crushed (but not injured), but there was no flag. If THAT didn't warrant a flag, nothing does.

Nevermind. After thinking it over. Your d-line was just too much for MSU. Specifically Gibson. My two QB system was no match for that pass rush. Pryor was just a pain in my ass, but I could have hung with you if it wasn't for that kick ass defense. :tongue2:

No advance this morning. Pretty nasty storms came through last night, and I unplugged just about everything electronic except for the oldest TV in the house. More thunderstorms expected this morning so I didn't bother to plug anything back in and check on the dynasty status.

fanatic. Drunken Clown played as Iowa, against Penn State, last night and super simmed their way to a 40-7 loss. Hopefully you didn't suffer any injuries in the process.

Yeah, was going to question your game analysis until that last post :wink2: It was my defense that really won the game. Pryor just did enough to make sure I won. But it was me holding you to FGs versus TDs and my DL beating up on your two QB system (That Gibson hit was great!) that won the game.

That and a great tip-toe job by Saine :biggrin:
