Refs are letting Purdue play Big Ten basketball. Because of their style of play this is still very much a game, but I'd be pleasantly surprised to see this hold up. I had picked Siena, but want to see the Big Ten teams do well.

i have been impressed with the officiating overall. worst game by far was nova/robert morris. otherwise, refs are letting the players get at it. bodes well for ohio state with its short bench.

I agree. Robert Morris was taken out of that game by the refs.

In the end, Purdue was one point better and Siena one point worse than Pomeroy forecast, so not so bad.

Wisconsin can't hit the side of this from beyond the arc...

Yesterday I kept reading on this thread "Big East basketball..." as Big East teams went down.

Same can be said about B10 basketball. Now that Purdont has lost the Hummer, they are average. B10 basketball=tOSU and MSU. The rest are average.

No, not really, because no one was really hyping the b10 on that level. Competitive conference? Sure. OSU & MSU (because of izzo) with FF potential? Yes.

Great conference? not really, at least not since the end of 09 before the wheels came off of certain schools.
