Where to start:
Awful job by the committee... not in its selection of teams, but certainly in the seedings and balance of the regions.
Duke has the easiest road to travel for a one seed and its not close. But I wouldn't be so quick to pencil them into Indianapolis because they will still have trouble with Louisville or Villanova. Both teams are more talented and athletic than anything they saw in the ACC tournament.
What did Kansas do to deserve being stuck in a region with Ohio State and Georgetown? What did Kentucky do to deserve being stuck with West Virginia? Those three teams are arguably the best teams that aren't seed as a #1 in the touranment.
The Midwest is the Bracket of Death. Kansas - #1 overall seed. Ohio State - best player in the country, on a roll. Georgetown - inconsistent, but can matchup up well with any team in the country inside and out. Michigan State - Tom Izzo, 'nuff said. Tennessee - only team to beat both Kansas and Kentucky. How does the committee justify this region????
