I just now realized that UC Santa Barbara's mascot is a Gaucho...

...beating some purple Gauchos should be the biggest morale booster ever...

Well, they're the Gauchos but they don't wear purple. They're blue and gold...reminds me of some other teams I hate.

Looks like the only common opponent we have with UCSB is Cal.

Cal 87
UCSB 66

OSU 76
Cal 70

I think the Dookies could have their hands full with Louisville in the 2nd round, if they get past Cal.

So do I...

...I think realistically Duke will have to fight to beat Louisville, will probably out hustle a star-less Purdue, and get beat by Villanova for the second straight season.

Go Gators!! :banger:

(No, I don't think we belong ether, but I'll take it, like any good gift)

I like your first round draw. BYU is seeded too high every year. I'll run to the window if the Gators are getting points when I get to Vegas on Wednesday.

Kansas State in the second round could be a tough match up, though.

Gauchos went 20-9.

Here's a little on them:

At one point in the season, they lost 6 out of 7 games. And the most interesting note is that they have a 7' 3" guy out of Hungary.

Let's hope this first game is a good chance to see PJ, Simmons, Kec et al!
