Others have chimed in on this but to be clear...how did I 'denigrate' Nebraska?

It's not like I'm ORD frothing over how that Nebraska is the worst University of all time because it's ranked about where Ohio State was when he got accep....err nevermind.

I suppose I took umbrage at the word "irrelevant." Were we irrelevant? Of course. But do I want to hear that? Of course not.

Except that you missed the Highlander reference I made earlier. But otherwise, you're a tough competitor. Maybe I should stick to the shallow end of the pool?

I've probably covered 1 and 2. When have I used sharp words regarding OSU? I thought I'd been pretty respectful, considering how I have a great deal of respect for the Buckeyes.

San Diego museum returning Heisman to Bush

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Reggie Bush's copy of his 2005 Heisman Trophy currently is in the possession of a San Diego sports museum, but is not on display.

Angela LaChica, a vice president at the San Diego Hall of Champions, says the hall received the trophy from the family in March but never displayed it and now is in the process of getting it back in the hands of Bush's family.

Well we both know there's 'irrelevant' and then there's 'irrelevant'.

A Nebraska team that isn't regularly competing for conference & national championships is still a far cry from an Iowa State or Indiana.

Being a borderline top 25 team is something 75%+ of fans would kill for.

Look at it this way, even during their worst decade in..what 50 years? ...Nebraska was still more relevant than Aggie.

Whether you choose to engage in your own counter argument or not is not up to me. If you feel it's "validation" of something ridiculous, I'd suppose you should just let it go then. If losing the Holiday Bowl means a team is BACK, or relevant, or whatever..then I guess Neb. is relevant again.

If NU and OSU fans want to have a penis measuring contest...how about a new thread for that and we keep this one on point?

By the way....our penis is WAY bigger..so it would probably be best for Husker fans to not get too excited about going 1-1 in the Holiday Bowl over the last two years whilst OSU was busy winning back to back BCS bowls.

Can we now get back to talking about either USC, or how OSU's current predicament with the NCAA isn't at all like what USC went through; in a thread that *used* to be about USC and their sanctions?
