NCAA Football (PS3) Promotion/Relegation Online Dynasty

We have advanced to signing day. I got the 4* QB, but that's all I got. Out of my 10 remaining targets. 3 were DNQs, 3 committed to teams that didn't offer, 3 committed to last minute offers, and I ended up with the 4* QB.

Hmph. 5* HB will come in as 2nd string with 77 OVR 89 SPD. All other ratings are okay, not quite the superstar I was hoping for but good enough. Other than that I have 4 or 5 FR 3* starters right away. Not that they are that good, theyre supplanting players that are that bad.

Sweet. I was able to change last year's 4* ATH from HB to WR. He only dropped from a 75 to a 72 OVR. My RB corp isn't strong, but they're full of 3* guys, so they shouldn't suck too bad. My 3* #33 MLB is a 62 OVR. So's my 2* #73 MLB. Either the 3* guy is a bust or the 2* guy is a steal. My best recruit is a 4* Athlete that will be my day-one starting quarterback, but he only has 75 accuracy.

And my all world 3* Juco HB coming in as a junior is a 79 OVR with 95 SPD, 93 AGL & 94 ACC

While I only got one 4* I built a ton of depth with my 3* recruits and only grabbing 2* JUCOs that come in with higher ratings to make up for all the upperclassman that I will be cutting.

Speaking of cuts... on TeamBuilder teams we can only have a roster of 68/69, right? Should we cut down to that number or just cut down to 70 and make that final cut as we enter our TB teams? Just in case NCAA13 spits out some odd new OVR rating or such.

This is what I'm doing.

Despite only having 16 signees, I can't complain about the quality of guys I brought in. My best signee is the 4* QB that I signed the last week of the recruiting cycle. He comes in as an 80 OVR, but I haven't really checked his useful ratings yet. My other 4* was listed as an ATH, and I'll be starting him as a 75 OVR RT next season. He would've been 77 OVR at center, and 75 at every other o-line position. I've also continued a pretty good streak, in both dynasties, of picking really good 2* prospects. I also had two 1* FBs that came in in the mid-60s.

Decent, if not great, recruiting class. I only had 9 seniors and 1 transfer, so I can replace those guys, and still cut 6-8 guys from my large and talentless junior and senior classes.

Team Ratings for next year.

I assume that I'll be replacing Texas State with Texas State. Spartanburg will, again, replace Memphis. West Chester will likely replace UMass, and Alcatraz Island will replace UNLV again.

You'll have free reign over which roster you choose to use. Keep in mind two things. 1) trying to match roster makeup with yours, and 2) Pipelines. If you can, choose a school with a roster made up of the pipelines that fit your area.

Now that the season is basically over... JUCO's were a goldmine in this game. 2*/1* gems that come in upper 60s to low 70s, had a couple in the upper 70s. Higher ratings, but ranked lower due to being SO/JR.
