NCAA Football (PS3) Promotion/Relegation Online Dynasty

Got a question about promotions for the upcoming season. (Ie, checking to see if I should promise win conference title to incoming recruits) So have to check what conference and who I would be playing against next season.

Just want to make sure I am reading this correctly. When I win the Sun Belt this season, I will be going to the Fiesta Bowl... whom I will play the WAC champion (ie Port Chester/Iron). Of course unless either of us go to the National Title Game. So if we play each other in the Fiesta, then the winner moves to the CUSA, right? If one of us makes the National Title game, then both of us would move to the CUSA West. In addition, the winner of the MAC (Fanatic or Olaf) would move to the CUSA East, correct?

Of course if Port Chester v Texas St in the BCS bowl, the loser stays in the Sun Belt or WAC, correct?

And to wrap things in a tidy lil bow... Next season, Fanatic/Olaf loser will remain in the MAC (unless somehow the loser makes a BCS bowl and wins), and when darby moves up with San Jose St, he will either play in the Sun Belt or WAC, whichever conference has an opening?

One last question... do we have to worry about our team prestige moving up to the CUSA?

You have it right. I've decided to eliminate prestige as part of the promotions/relegation setup. We would gain prestige every year just by beating on the CPU. Essentially, yearly prestige gain would eliminate the importance of head to head user games.

Two instant commits from a couple of three-stars. That's the good news. The bad news is that I need a ton of linebackers but only one three-star is interested. It looks like I'll be spending too much time on two-star and below kids.

Saw a big bump when I set up my recruiting board in the level of talent. Hardly any 2 star guys on the initial board, and even have a 4 star who they said was interested. I know things will change as we go along, but feeling a bit better about things. Now, to get some Wins!

All I will say is EFFFFFFFFFFFFF You

I had 12 guys on my board with me as #1 choice. Figured if I could get 4-5 instant commits I could concentrate on bigger fish... and only got ONE! Of course he wasn't the 3* QB or the 3* HB I really needed, he was my lowest rated CB on my board who is a 2*.

The only condolence was he is a B+ speed guy that I think his 40 time would put him at 89/90 speed and the bigger thing... He was a guy I only offered because Port Chester was in his Top 10 interest list. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!

Got an instant commit from a 3 star running back that will give me a good jump start on this recruiting class... I really need to come through big.

As for the game, the Spartans have a lot of work to do. My WR's seemingly dropped everything, and it got worse when they received contact. Only time you could throw to them was a 5 yard stick route with nobody around them. The running game wasn't so hot either. Still, BG's offense was more atrocious than mine, and was able to get the W. I'm breaking in a new QB who only played a couple of snaps because of injury last year, and I'm still deciding if I like him or not. There's a talented So. behind him I'd like to get some PT

My top recruits showed up huge for the first game of their college careers.

Yeah, my speed 3* WR came through bigtime for me. Other than that... my defense is suffering with the loss of most of its secondary.

Or I blame Iron for scheduling Ohio as my 1st game. I was torn... I didn't want to crush them too badly but then again I had to come back to win the game as my new QB isn't as good and I should have just pounded the ball. But then again my QB is like 50 speed so couldn't really practice my new option plays.

Mine too. My 77OVR true freshman QB was only 2 for 3 passing, but he got 120+ yards and 2 TDs out of those 2 completions. He also averaged 5+ yard/carry, and that doesn't count the plays where he pressed the defense, and pitched it to the Back for nice gains.

My "stud" 3* athlete ended up only being a 66 OVR HB, but I'm not sure where his low rating came from. He's fast, and he fell forward every time he got hit. As my second string RB, he had over 100 yards rushing with 2 TDs and 60+ yards receiving with 1TD.

I may have been a little cocky, but I don't care a whole lot about my non-conference and non-rivalry games, so I put my backups in as soon as I went up 20-10. I was pretty pleased with the way the scrubs performed, and it helped me prevent my best players from getting injured. I'm red-shirting very few players in this dynasty (only transfers, I think), so I like to give everyone as much PT as possible.
