NCAA Football (PS3) Promotion/Relegation Online Dynasty

Advanced to cuts. If everyone finishes by tomorrow morning, I'll be able to do the promotions and relegations then. If everyone doesn't finish, then I'll have to wait until Sunday night to do them, and move us to on to the preseason.

The most disappointing thing for me this year, was my inability to grow my pipelines. I still have California, Texas (both are great pipelines), and Nevada (crap), but I really worked on getting Louisiana, Ohio, and Alabama on board. I do think that I made enough progress in those states, and in Washington, that I'll be able to get them next season, but, dammit, I want them now.
I take it all back. I picked up Hawai'i as a pipeline. None of you will be able to keep up with me now.

Is it possible to move that Houston game for me any later?
I'll take a look tonight. I want to see if I can get fanatic and Olaf's rivalry games slotted in at week 8. If not, then I'm going to keep everyone's rivalry games set to weeks 4 and 5, rather than stick those two with earlier rivalry game visits than the rest of us.

Can't do it. Olaf and fanatic's conference schedules won't let me go any later than week 5, and I want to keep everyone's rivalry games as even as possible.

No problem, not sure who the rival games are for everyone. As long as they are all in that Week 5/6 range I am cool with it.

Got a question about promotions for the upcoming season. (Ie, checking to see if I should promise win conference title to incoming recruits) So have to check what conference and who I would be playing against next season.

Promotion and Relegation System

  • Spreadsheet to the NCAA 12 Conference Hierarchy.
  • All teams will start out in the lowest prestige conference, with 1* prestige schools.
  • In order to be eligible for promotion, a team must win their conference or win a BCS Bowl, AND meet the minimum prestige level for their new conference.[sup]1[/sup] [sup]2[/sup]
  • Last place teams from each conference will be relegated to the next lowest prestige conference.
  • In the case of User teams all being independents in season 1, all that will be required is to have a winning record to replace the worst record teams in the Sun Belt, MAC, and WAC. Once you make a conference, you must win your division and/or conference in order to be promoted.
[sup]2[/sup]Sun Belt and WAC conference champions will meet in the Fiesta Bowl, and the winner will be promoted to Conference USA West. The Big East and MWC Champions will meet in the Sugar Bowl, and the winner will be promoted to the PAC12. The Big 12 and PAC 12 Champions will meet in the Rose Bowl, and the Champion will be promoted to the Big Ten. ANY TEAM THAT MAKES THE NCG WILL AUTOMATICALLY WIN PROMOTION FOR THE FOLLOWING SEASON.

Just want to make sure I am reading this correctly. When I win the Sun Belt this season, I will be going to the Fiesta Bowl... whom I will play the WAC champion (ie Port Chester/Iron). Of course unless either of us go to the National Title Game. So if we play each other in the Fiesta, then the winner moves to the CUSA, right? If one of us makes the National Title game, then both of us would move to the CUSA West. In addition, the winner of the MAC (Fanatic or Olaf) would move to the CUSA East, correct?

Of course if Port Chester v Texas St in the BCS bowl, the loser stays in the Sun Belt or WAC, correct?

And to wrap things in a tidy lil bow... Next season, Fanatic/Olaf loser will remain in the MAC (unless somehow the loser makes a BCS bowl and wins), and when darby moves up with San Jose St, he will either play in the Sun Belt or WAC, whichever conference has an opening?

One last question... do we have to worry about our team prestige moving up to the CUSA?
