Stay strong brother. Don't give in. If you want to hate on EA just visit www.operationsports.com You will be set back on the right track. I ran multiple ODs and people are asking me but I have not read or seen anything that is encouraging. Although, it is usually after the last patch I bitch up and buy the damn thing.

I am trying to stay strong and just purchase FIFA and maybe NBA 2K.

Did they really? I have my copy, but I'm still searching for the most up to date roster to use for now till a legit one is finished.

Maybe because of the recent lawsuit they decided to use randomized names to cover their butts and say "These aren't the real players?"

Yeah, I fired up mine just a bit ago, default is numbers as usual.

If anyone is still looking for a temporary roster till the good ones are complete, try AUScott7 for PS3. It's only missing 38 teams (Mostly just lower conferences), and I only found a small typo in one of the teams I use. Its name edits only, so don't expect correct skin/gear or anything. I'm gonna roll with this till next week.

Some observations from my first game with the real game:

1) The broadcasters no longer refer to the players by name after the rosters are edited. A lawsuit casualty?

2) The no huddle brings up formations with the same personnel.

3) Brutus does pushups after TDs (an interesting addition, albeit inaccurate).

I probably wouldn't have noticed #1 if you didn't mention it. You're right. Not sure what you mean on #2. When you're in no huddle hasn't it always shown all the formations with the same personnel, or are you saying it only shows the few formations that match the positions currently on the field? Only problem I have with no huddle right now is the delay that seems to occur after you run a play, doesn't seem to be showing my play list right away, I'm getting like a 4-5 second delay. From what I've seen this is a known issue I guess.

I had one minor bug in the game I played. After a tackle my ball carrier started glitching...convulsing on the ground like he was having a seizure, all limbs going into wild spasms, it was entertaining. The Georgia Tech staff left him in the game :lol:

Have to echo the stay strong and don't buy argument. This may very be the first year in over 10 years that I am not buying the game.

While it seems like the physics is fixed and the run/option game is solid... that doesn't mean a thing if passing is so easy due to bad pass coverages that it becomes an arcade type of game with both QBs throwing for 500+ yards and it frustrates you on defense to no end.

Plus I am worried about the changes to recruiting since I am a HUGE dynasty guy... need to see what people think in a week or two before I get it.

The one thing I don't like is the coach attribute for instant commits. Nick saban is the only powerhouse coach who can get an instant commit. The other coaches have to be upgraded to unlock that skill.

So far I'm fine with recruiting. Instead of going doint the same thing with a recruit week after week, (6 hours again for my top guy...same six pitches...rinse, repeat), it's streamlined. I offer 5000 minutes of recruiting in Week 1, the minutes are still there in week 2. If I want to change it, I change it. If I want to leave it, I leave it. Recruiting now takes a minute or two and nothing has really been taken away.

Someone earlier posted a quote about a guy upset he didn't get commits. That was on him. As in year's past, have your early targets visit early and your late targes visit late. Don't have the guy you've been after since day one visit in Week 13.

I haven't played game after game after game of NCAA Football since NCAA 11. I'm sure I'll find things that drive me nuts somewhere down the road, but this year's game made a huge leap. I'm sure others may disagree, but I'm loving it so far.
