No huddle offense is now severely hurt, especially when it's done for time reasons. Ive only had away games with it, but every single play 4-5 seconds are lost because the receivers/backs go into the 'can't hear the playcall' animation pre-snap. It's not the end of the world for when you're running no huddle just to keep the defense on the field, but for end of game/half situations it's a killer.

Same thing happened to me in my championship game so its not solely road games. End of the half I thought I could have gotten 3 plays off, ended up only getting off one pass due to no one hearing the call.

After further thought -- this is a huge deal; I don't know if this was done on purpose with the most recent patch, but it is garbage. Even if you run hurry-up and choose to spike the ball the QB makes an audible motion and a player will not hear wasting time.

Good work EA.

Was coming to post the same thing. At first I thought it because I was at an away stadium but the next home game it happened to me again every time.

The odd part is that it doesn't affect the computer no huddles.

Yeah, its not away games... cuz that happened to me during a HOME game. I used it quite a bit and happened every freaking time.

Well, at least EA didn't disappoint in breaking something during their patches. Now the question is... did they break anything else?

Hopefully they can fix this via a 'tuner' instead of doing a patch.

I had it happen at home against Middle Tennessee State. Luckily, hurrying wasn't actually necessary, but it was still annoying. I wonder if changing the tempo to aggressive would help...probably not.

I tried changing the Tempo up and down and didn't work; I tried calling the audible on the way to the line, I tried hiking before the QB motion... nothing. They always go through the sequence.

Loving how they still haven't fixed the super linebacker... Starting to get disappointed that I went out and got this game... Really disappointed in the lack of details (I hate the chrome helmets for the Buckeyes and some of the facemasks are lame)

This is a complaint I don't have. The LB's in my experience have been much more realistic. You can pass around, underneath, and over top of them, but they aren't stationary. You can read their body positioning to get an idea of where they are headed. But I think the ability to pass over top of them has been of the best additions to '13.

Heck, if they are looking away a pass can sail right past the LB to your crossing WR. It is a beautiful site... the downside to all of this realism is offense is borderline too easy. But at least it has a realistic feel to it versus a cheesiness to it.

I agree with you here. Passing is much easier now.

Yes. I thought I was the only one who noticed this. It happens when you don't even call and audible or hot route.

I had the task of playing... Wait for it..... #1..... Notre :slappy: Dame in South Bend, and the receivers not hearing the audible at the line shit got old FAST. Also, in my user game earlier today against Scooter, there was an instance where I had the ball with 18 seconds left in the first half. My top WR proceeds to waste 12 seconds trying to "hear the play".. Luckily, my next play was a TD with 1 second left. He also had the same issue later on in the game, late in the 4th with the game on the line. Now I'm sorry, the crowd should be an issue, but it shouldn't completely cripple your attempt to run a hurry up. And it sure as hell shouldn't be an issue playing in a stadium similar to Wake Forest's.
