I just tested those 8 names for myself on Teambuilder and Russell, Bonner, and Whitley all were fine.

Yes they do work on there. In the game they do not.

its weird that it cant be entered however currently in my 11 dynasty (yes I still play all year round lol) my 5 star recruit C's last name is Cummings.

Got confirmation of a HUGE addition for many headed to NCAA 12 via day 1 patch.Don't want to steal Ben's thunder. You'll find out soon :-)

General consensus is that it is editing in dynasty mode. Meaning you can edit the ratings and appearance of all recruits after they're on campus.

Most are singing the praises of EA for this addition. I say it's very unnecessary and will lead to more problems than solutions, especially if it is allowed for online dynasties.
