Thanks for the feedback. I always like hearing suggestions or what others are going to do with the OSU rosters. It helps me reevaluate my plans for how I'll re-edit the fully named rosters from OperationSports.
And man, the Buckeye ratings are crazy low. Sabino's a 79 OVR. Freshmen like Braxton, Doran Grant, and Steve Miller are way lower than I thought they'd be.

It's like that across the board, and as long as they're consistent with it, and don't dump a pile if 75-84 rated recruits on us in the dynasty, I like it.

There shouldn't be that many studs on every team. This helps separate the great ones from the developing guys.

Other changes I plan to make:

Donnie Evege -> Tyler Moeller
Hall to LT (Wasn't he in the mix last year?)

Unless I miscounted, there are still three spots open to create a Buckeye. I'm thinking TY Williams, Jeff Heuerman, and Ron Tanner.

Pryor, Jackson, Longo, Ben St John*, Newsome*, Bell*, Evege* would be the openings on my roster.

* - others would fit better (Moeller, Grant, Allen)

Heuerman or Vannett is in. Impossible to judge without the state (they're an inch and 5 lbs different).

Cash is in.

Users can always create extra players for their squads, but you can't add players to roster edits. I think OSU was short a player or two last year as well.

In the video of OSU vs UM that JW posted, at the 4:22 mark, the throw from Pryor is terrible. The ball doesn't even look like its in his hand in the replay.

Correction: it's NOT in his hand when he throws the ball.

I'll probably move Hall to WR. I think that's something I'll wait to look at until I can practice with him there.

Worst case scenario they send out a flood of cancellation emails tomorrow and we all get it from Amazon anyway (for those who haven't preordered yet). It's probably a typo, since the PS3 version says 7/12, but it's worth a shot.

p.s. I asked in person at the NE Ohio place that usually sells it and they said no dice.

I was looking at OSU roster again on TeamBuilder. Is it just me, or are they just plain bad? There's no way Donnie Evege should be the highest rated CB. My theory is that he's supposed to be Dionte Allen but EA gave him Evege's bio instead. And how is Sabino rated a 79 and Klein an 86? Neither have really done anything to distinguish high ratings, but those just seem wrong. Jamie Wood's the starting FS over CJ Barnett. We get Zach Domicone but not Tyler Moeller. Ben St. John...and an 80 at that?

At least I can edit them somewhat.

Etienne Sabino is a beast and should be at least an 80!!!! :biggrin:

The first noteworthy discount has surfaced. KMart is offering a $20 voucher with purchase of NCAA Football 12. Hopefully Amazon will match this (they occasionally match big chain store discounts)

BestBuy is offering a 40% bonus for trade-ins right now, but that still puts their credits below Amazon trade-ins, not to mention the greater convenience and product-lineup you can use the Amazon GC on.
