NCAA Football 12 + Rosters

I'm watching the Ustream of EA playing the demo. They're showing Oregon v. Texas.

Things they've said:

  • No assigning duplicate jerseys. The excuse is to stop people from cheesing online. The guy even said it's a weak excuse.
  • The Pinstripe Bowl is the only bowl stadium not in the game.
  • TeamBuilder - Nothing really new. They added some new stadiums and uniforms, but that's pretty much it. RTG is using it for high school teams.
  • Does LaMichael James have dreads? I don't remember.
  • TeamBuilder should be launched the week before launch.
  • The Demo matchups are Oregon v. Texas and Florida State v. Alabama.

How does that stop people from cheesing online? They don't know what the definition of cheesing is, and have never played some of those dbags online.

Seriously EA, that's the WEAKEST excuse

The developer said that they're afraid people will give everyone the same number to hide who the good players are on offense.

They can program the game to look exactly like an ESPN broadcast, but they can't program it to allow only one guy on each side of the ball to wear a specific number?

There are a lot fewer pre-order deals than normal this year... looking back, Amazon had a $10 credit on June 3rd, then in mid-june they had full price plus a free fathead. EA Sports was the best deal, with the E3 $20 off code able to be applied.

I don't understand Texas either, unless it is to show off the stadium entrance, but FSU and others seem better for that.

Especially since Texas was the choice last year.
