Looks like Jordan Hall is going to be wearing #21 in the game.

No way Jordan Hall is getting and OVR 84 ranking. That has to be Berry. It looks like he better not get redshirted or he's going to want to transfer.

EDIT: Then again, he has Hall's measurables.

Could be Berry, I just took a guess based on his measurables.

Summary from vid (Credit to Soldice at OS)
- new menus
- Campus Legend seems to be renamed to Rod to Glory
- TeamBuilder option in main menu(Possible CAS?)
- Season Showdown listed on main menu
- Custom Conferences(talked about before)
- Sim Stats have been tuned
- player's "picture" have been changed
- navigating the dynasty menus seem much smoother
- player promises and players leaving bugs are fixed
- the call recruit screen has changed
- some recruits wont be available till off-season
- you now can see how much interest is gained from each "pitch"
- you can now recruit against another school, to lower the recruits interest in that school
- WKU appears to be out of the Independent conference and in the Sunbelt like they should be for the 2009 season.

You can now recruit against schools (Negative recruiting).

That is going to be extremely interesting in the online Dynasty's

You bet, I wonder if certain schools (ie SEC) will be better at Negative Recruiting :wink2: but I didn't like how the negative recruiting was set up. From the screens they showed, it seemed like it was swaying a pitch. Now what would be cool is if each pitch is different. Meaning if both teams are 'Elite' on Athletic Facilities. It would be cool if you can pump him up on your side to a 'Very High' but for your opponent you can lower it to 'Average' without affecting your 'Very High'

But it will be one of those that we won't find out til the game comes out on how it really works.

You know what? The more I think of it, the more I think it's Hall. The video is from after the second year of the dynasty (He's a RS Freshman). After two years of progression, Berry would be higher than an 84 but that's about right for Hall (assuming he's a 75-78 default).

Interesting post at Operation Sports from an EA rep.

I'm interested in dynasties, so this drew my attention:

Recruits:
Not really a question, but I feel it's important. We've spent the last week or so really trying to fine tune the recruits that come into your Dynasty's... in NCAA 09 you would get too many "good" recruits. The goal is to only have a handful of recruits come into the nation with an OVR rating above 80 at each position. While there are some guys that can step up and play as true freshmen, there should not be as many as we've had in years past.

They need to make the AI in "Campus Legend" mode a little better. I'm getting tired of being a QB and handing off to a RB that totally misses an open hole because he wants to make a juke move too early, or a WR that catches the ball in the open and instead of racing down the sideline, he goes straight at the defender. Or, the Defensive Lineman constantly knowing when a screen is being thrown. Sorry about the complaining, but these are little things that add up to a lot, there plenty more knicks, but there are plenty of good things as well.

I didn't run campus legend for very long, but I would always audible out of a non-option run play. I had some pretty good RBs in the high school playoffs, but you're right, the excessive juking is just stupid.

All of these reasons are exactly why QB was my least favorite position in the Campus Legend. Besides choosing which receiver to throw to, there is no control whatsoever on the outcome of the play, or anything for that matter after the ball leaves your hand. I've played every position, and they all have flaws in the AI like you mentioned. I really like the Campus Legend format, but I do wish they would put some effort into making it more realistic, like many other aspects of the game, but I know they won't. Campus Legend just isn't as important as Dynasties, Recruiting, Pocket passing, and oh yeah, mascot games.
