2025 NC OL David Sanders Jr. (Tennessee Signee)

Go to the transfer portal then…. Don’t spend it on a kid who might not even cut it.
Many times I would agree with you. However, if there is a kid of high 5* quality, who shows interest in the program, appreciates the program, and wants a little extra money, I say go get them. They spend big on receivers.

The way Day loves to run up the middle, indicates that he appreciates a good OL.

There is big risk in identifying transfer guys as well . That isn't fool proof.

Sanders is one recruitment that makes sense in putting major money forward.

I agree with this. In the Day/Bjork threads in the Buckeye forum, people keep saying that the donors are losing patience and getting sick of losing. Well you know what, instead of complaining they need to step up with recruits like this and increase their donations to the collectives do we can land these guys. Put your money where your mouth is. You want to compete with the southern schools for OL recruits like this, co tribute and make it happen instead of whining about coaches.

Sounds like the only 5* option is to put Donovan into a 3-D printer and press go. Maybe make 5 copies, in case one wants to play the flute rather than rip apart DL. On the plus side, the OL did well, when two starters went down, so the back-ups did step up. That's the positive take-away. But we saw in the Xichigan game, the IOL folk couldn't open up the holes needed for the RB up the middle stuff. Still dazed about that game. Frye didn't get his 'pass' by landing Sanders, for whatever reason, and he did sign the LT of the future. Quite a rebuilding job coming up, losing three starters and having to replace same. Hope he's up for it. PS, tOSU keeps losing players to the portal, but not so many OL. Anyway, go Bucks!

Sorry not so clear. big dog got it in one. Guess my brain works faster than my fingers. Nope, Sanders (probably) was using tOSU to squeeze more money from Tennessee. tOSU did get #7 OL (Lowe), and from the look test has the makings of a LT. Thought I read that he's a basketball player, so hopefully his feet can do the LT shuffle to protect the QB's blind side. Frye's probably got another year 'pass', and his OL did respond when two important starters went down with injuries, guess meaning that he had coached up what's on the current roster. However, hopefully the portal will yield some 'plug-in-and-play' starters on the OL. go Bucks!
