Scouting report from my BiL.

Big game against conference rival. 4th TD just scored. Will has three of them. 31-7 Weddington over Marvin Ridge 2 min before the half.

Incidentally, BiL is sitting with / next to the Shipley family. Suggested he give them a rain coat for their travels.

Glad to hear it. Maybe the silver lining of the 2020 RB recruiting struggles is that we'll land a guy like Shipley in 2021. RB is a position where a guy can come in and play at a high level early. Dobbins is likely off to play on Sundays, but we get at least one year of Teague after. And Crowley and Chambers look great so far. Anyways, you would look great in scarlet and gray Mr. Shipley.

He’s insanely good. I’d like to see more broken tackles but he just kind of easily outruns everyone.

Decisive, makes insanely quick cuts and has a ridiculous burst that’s followed by excellent breakout speed.

Could be a terrifying component of this offense. Could work with the running backs and imagine Hartline helping him get comfortable with a route tree. You could do so much pre-snap motion with him in the backfield with another TB and our group of receivers.

Man, can’t help but think about it.
