I do, but I think he's overrated, and I don't mean that to diminish him. HS football is decent in NC but, it's not elite HS football. His tape is against a lot of very average teams. I don't see what he does on a regular basis working at the college level.

I see and hear a lot of people locally comparing him Christian McCaffrey and I just don't see it. McCaffrey is unbelievable between the tackles and has much more lateral quickness. Shipley is good, but I think #26 overall and #1 APB is off the mark.

I didn't want to say it lol... I don't have as much insight obviously as you mac but I definitely don't see him as a 5 star kid. He won't even give them Travis Etienne let alone McCaffrey

Agreed....he doesn’t bring the physical toughness of an Etienne that is willing to plow defenders and fall forward. And that’s pretty critical to being an elite RB.

He won’t have the luxury of just pulling away from defenders like he does at the HS level once he gets to Clemson. So I’m curious how they are going to utilize him.

Don’t get me wrong, he can be a weapon. I just don’t see a sure fire, elite prospect.

Bummer. I think he is the real deal and will be a real weapon in Clemson's Offense.

Interesting, thanks for the breakdown. I hadn't watched his film all that closely. Do you think we got the best RB in NC with Pryor? I am beyond impressed with Pryor's film. Either way, can't be any more thrilled with our RB class, so even if Shipley pans out I don't think I can really muster any disappointment here.
