Awkwardness being the keyword. There were some moments that made me cringe in the U.K version. No other show has made me do that.

I'm giving up because it's devolved into cheesy paint-by-number sitcom crap. "Date Michael" was a cheap rip-off of "Prison Mike", Kevin crying at Pam's breasts? Really? It's like the writers aren't even trying anymore. When you set the bar so high the first 2-3 seasons, I guess a dropoff is to be expected, but it's just sinking really fast IMO. I don't even look forward to it anymore and mostly just watch it off of dvr...10 days later in this case. It's approaching "Drew Carey Show" level of unwatchability. "Community" and "Modern Family" are much better options nowadays.
