I think we should add 5 teams, but only include two additional states and keep the name The Big Ten (ten states). Way too much tradition and brand recognition to let it go. Nebraska, Missouri, ND, Pitt and find any other schmuck of a team in either Nebraska, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio or Pennsylvania to make it work... seems like the best and most reasonable idea to me.

Tradition doesn't mean a thing anymore, its all about the dollars. At one time the Big 8 and Southwest conferences had a rich history as well. Name the conference based off of geography and throw Inc. or Corp. behind the name, because that's what college sports have turned into. And before we know it the Buckeyes will be playing in Ohio Stadium sponsored by a fortune 500 company name slapped on it as well.

How would they fit that name on a logo?

In 50 years, nobody will care if its Donatos Stadium anyway, because it'll be known by its new, more popular name after rededication in 2030 to honor the winningest coach in school history: Tressel Field.

Tressel would have to coach 11 more 10 win seasons to pass up Woody.

Not impossible, but also not likely that Tressel will coach that long.
