My Lunch Sammich (FIFY)

Also, I'm the plain guy with the PB&J sandwich, too.

I do like to mix it up with salami and provolone sometimes. If I had more desire, I'd pretty much follow whatever is on the Italian BMT from Subway or the #9 Italian Night from Jimmy Johns.

Potato chips on the side, always.

I just ate a very delicious and simple PB&J for lunch after a couple days of turkey/cheddar/ketchup.

But you know what, I feel like I need to expand my lunch sandwich boundaries.

Anyone have any unique combinations to explore? Blow my mind.

My staple isn't that mind blowing, but it's my weekly lunch "go to." Roast Beef, Salami, Swiss Cheese on hamburger bun /w Miracle Whip and Mustard. I heat the bottom half of the sandwich (just meat & cheese) for 30 seconds in the microwave, leaving the top /w condiments still cool. Not a fan of warm condiments.

I am a fan of the Philly Cheese Steak at Penn Station, but I get it with everything on it. Mayo, mustard, pizza sauce, peppers, onions, etc. Sounds gross, and it's not what a Philadelphian would consider a real Cheese Steak, but damn...so tasty.

It is amazing how much better good bread, buns, etc. or the right condiments can make a sammich. I love a good spicy or horseradish mustard, all depends on the meat and cheese (and its not a sammich without cheese) as to what type. I like a good onion or pretzel bun or an indian grain sub bun. I like nice buns....
