Well, the sellers have finally agreed to repair everything that needs to be fixed so everything is back on. Looks like we will not be living out of a van down by the river in a few weeks. Nice to get that done. Now they just need to get everything fixed in the next week so our inspector can reinspect.

Closed on our house here today and should close on our house in OH next Wednesday. Had a little reception at work today. I received quite a few michigan items, including a football. One grumpy old man told me I would never find a community better than the one I live in now. I was pretty floored when he said it. Then I punched him in the face, he dropped immediately, spit on him and felt tremendously better. :wink2:

Oh yeah, my wife informed me tonight "We are NEVER moving again!!!"

Well, we are in the house, finally. It was about 36 hours later than we expected but we are in. All of our stuff is in the house and now it is just a matter of finding places for everything.

We have already met three of the neighbors, all of whom are very nice. I guess there is a block party coming up and it usually happens right in front of our house.

It is great being back home. Family came down to help onload and even take the boys off our hands while we put stuff away (amazing how little help a three year old and a five year old really are). Family cookout here Sunday, niece's birthday party in another week and then off to a family friend's wedding in a couple of weeks. All of which would not been possible had we still lived in michigan.
