Agreed.

With what we have I’m not sure he plays here.

Good luck to him

Smith & Graham is about as elite of a 2 WR class you can have. Along with the last 2 classes, yea the room is super crowded.

This is salty though I get it because of all the bad breaks lately, and I can't even remember the last time NSD and the weeks leading up to it went very positively instead of negatively for us. But the WR room is one place where we can easily move on from something like this.

It's a loss for sure. But I think the coaches are really high on Witten, who I see as someone who is similar to Flemming, whose CFB career has been hampered by injuries. Witten is the big body we need to help in the running game. Though he has excellent hands and is a great receiver in his own right.

I've come around to the players' side. Take the money. Might not ever get a chance to take it again. If someone had came in and offered me more money before I took my current job, I wouldn't be working where I do now. Is what it is.

I hope he made the right decision in the end, I wish him the best, and we'll be fine. I don't really view CFB as amateur sports anymore, they're being paid to play football. It's nothing more than business now.

I agree with the sentiment about burning bridges, but if it was a last second pitch, then so be it.

Definitely got NIL bagged on this one. Also likely an easier path to playing time at Oregon. Nothing you can do here. As long as Smith still signs this isn't that big of a deal.
All of this! And honestly, he was on flip watch when he left Oregon, there was too much smoke there. He’s very talented, and best of luck of Oregon, because he had quite the uphill battle at OSU
