A-Rod, interviewing Angels manager Maddon mid-game, claims the AL West "can be had" by LAA. Maybe if the Astros move to another division.
Not with that pitching staff they won't....honestly they are about 5 or 6 games better record-wise than they truly should be and I think that mostly has to do with how bad Texas is...

For sure. The Angels have to remodel their pitching staff and replace a lot of guys. They have an uphill battle as Houston is way ahead of them right now, and Oakland is also more well-suited to contend for the playoffs because their pitching is better than LAA. For the near future, the Angels are basically looking at trying to beat out Seattle for 3rd place.

Yes, their pitching staff is horrible. But Cleveland only allowed them 2 runs in a 3-game sweep. That's not much offense either.

This Dodgers padres game is nuts. Still going at 12:30 AM on the west coast. Looked like the dodgers finally had it won in the 15th but Tatis Jr had different ideas
