I'm actually sort of, kind of, rooting for the Cardinals - lesser of two evils - but I'm glad they fixed that call. That is one of the best umps MLB has to offer? :eek:

Matheny should save his anger for Kozma, who dropped a sure DP ball and opened the door for a 3 run inning.

Nice grab by Beltran to prevent a grand slam but this one looks over already at 5-0. Wacha, not Wainright, has been STL's best starter in the playoffs. The kid will be under more pressure in game two now.

Big win. I figured both home fields would provide an advantage, but I didn't expect that tonight. Love seeing Pedroia & Ortiz hit the ball well tonight. Napoli is on fire & getting their bats rolling would be huge.

I like throwing Lackey in Game 2 & hopefully he's on like he was in Game 3 against Detroit.
