David Ortiz is batting .727 in the World Series with 2 HR, 5 RBI, and 0 Strikeouts. Wrap your mind around that. Those are softball numbers right there. Amazing.

Throw out Beltran robbing him of a grand slam and "Papi" would be at .800 3 HR 9RBI with the 0 K's. And, all the while, he's done it with class and dignity that needs to be coached into every young player in the league. Fans of the game seem to always want to bitch and moan about arrogant overpaid douchebag players and for the most part, rightfully so. David Ortiz, on the other hand, is the exception. HE is what's RIGHT with professional athletes, as opposed to the many WRONG's out there. I'm a lifelong Indians fan and don't care too much for the Red Sox. However, I find it hard to root against a guy thats made such positive contributions to not only this World Series, but to the game of baseball as a whole.
