I used to umpire Little League in the 80s. For $10/game the strike zone expanded, as needed.

At some point if it didn't sail over my head or bounce halfway to home plate, that kid had better swing.

Just sayin': I remember back in the early 70s or late 60s in basketball Sparty had to wear Ohio State's road uniforms as somebody stole their uniforms.

Starters often don't make it out of the 5th or throw more than 80-90 pitches today.

Amazing how it's changed.

When you're paying a guy $20,000 who cares if his arm falls off? When you're paying him $20 million you try to protect your investment.

I'm not sure how much that really works, but if your 20 million dollar baby blows out his elbow on pitch 130 you'll probably get fired.

Dodgers/Padres series has been on MLB Network the last couple nights.

I really enjoy watching Tatis Jr. mash baseballs and take it to the Dodgers. What a matchup. Will take this in October.

Talented, inspired, high level, fun baseball. Basically, not the Reds.

I’m not sure the “Battle of Ohio” was the same sport after watching these 2 square off the past two weekends.
