Even without this year's records. Climate, recruiting, and the fact that there aren't racial protests going on at Cal to my knowledge all seem to favor the home team.

Yo I been here da ho time. The argument against Cal is getting the athletes you need to win into that school.
Then I remember Marshawn Lynch played there and laugh at myself for thinking academics is an issue.

I doubt a football coach would concern himself too much with campus protests, but some of that is now going on at most schools, Cal Berkeley included. I could see a coach having some concern about the situation where football players were joining in and threatening to boycott games, though.Racial Protests (Mizzou) or Mass Amount of Dirty Hippies (Berkley)

Way off topic, but you may be thinking of Neil Cavuto at Fox Business Network. The Million Student March movement is as boneheaded as it gets. I'd rather deal with the racial people. The Ditzy girl who is the "leader" of it got shredded by some reporter on I think CNN it was comical.
Loved how Neil handled that. Such restraint in his questions. He could have easily hammered her much more than he did. Classic.Way off topic, but you may be thinking of Neil Cavuto at Fox Business Network.
You're also forgetting about the scholar, Desean Jackson...The argument against Cal is getting the athletes you need to win into that school.
