Nogueira brothers fighting on the same card. I like it.

Should have been Rashad... Machida got KO'd by Rua and lost to Rampage, both fighters that Jones handled. Hopefully there's a good co main event, because if not it's a weak headliner IMO.

Sources speaking with MMAWeekly.com said that the pins were removed on Wednesday, but the ex-light heavyweight champ is looking at three weeks of physical therapy before a return to his normal training schedule is allowed. That would leave Evans with just four weeks to prepare, and that includes not suffering any problems during therapy for the hand.

Machida is no push over. Out of shogun/page/pissdrinker Machida is the best counter puncher and it's not even close. The only way I see Jones losing to anyone who isn't anderson is getting caught up in a goofy move (spinning elbow/backfist etc).Page and Shogun seen immediately that they couldn't stand with Jones (reach too much and great at utilizing it). Machida will be much more cautious and not give away his range like they did.He just isn't super aggressive until he has to be. I'm not saying he's going to beat bones, but Jones is human.

BTW.If you are going to use MmaMath, then don't forget how Rashad faired against Lyoto.

Make sure you watch the undercard fights on Facebook. Theres a guy that i know from a local ohio gym fighting on there named Stipe Miocic, the guy is a machine. Really cool guy. Hes going to dominate the UFC. He walked through the Golden Gloves like nothing, and hes dominated everyone he's fought in the cage. Remember the name....

Calling it now..Jose by murder.

Definitely wasn't by murder. A close decision even though the judges had it 49-46 imo it was a little closer. Kenflo's game plan was very good.

Edgar/Maynard was a very good fight. Maynard rocked him in the first, and I thought he might have had him. Frankie has the heart of a lion. In the 4th round he caught Maynard and delivered some nice right hand bombs. The ref stopped it.

Honestly about the time Braxton went down in the game. I just kinda sit back and soaked up what was going on with OSU. The fights started to lose their luster.

Georges St. Pierre (knee) out of fight

Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre suffered a knee injury that will keep him out of the main event at UFC 137, president Dana White announced Tuesday.

"I just landed in New York City, and what do I always say? I have to deal with bad [stuff] every day," White said on Twitter. "GSP is out with an injury.

"It's [his] knee."

St. Pierre was scheduled to defend his title against hard-hitting Carlos Condit on Oct. 29 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Firas Zahabi, who is St. Pierre's head trainer, told ESPN.com the fighter's injury isn't career-threatening but severe enough to prevent him participating in strenuous workouts.

"It's not the worst injury, just something that will keep him out the next few weeks," Zahabi said.

"This is not career-threatening; that's the good news. The unfortunate news is that he won't be able to fight. He's really depressed about it."

St. Pierre-Condit will be replaced by another high-profile welterweight showdown involving B.J. Penn and former Strikeforce titleholder Nick Diaz, according to White.

Though Penn-Diaz becomes the main event, it will remain a three-round fight. UFC recently designated all its main-event bouts for five rounds.

With St. Pierre out, Condit has been pulled from UFC 137. He retains his top-contender status and is expected to challenge St. Pierre at a later date.

"We will sit Condit and wait for GSP," White said. "It's looking so far like [St. Pierre] could be ready in a couple of months."

Wonderful. I know you can't fault guys for training and getting hurt, but goddamn it seems like someone is getting knocked off almost every card. Do these guys not train when they don't have scheduled fights?

I just had one of my original trainers break his neck in three place last week in training.... shit happens. When you're going live, you're going live... even going 65%-70% things are getting twirked, turned and torqued hard.
