I am thinking Dana is going to eventually give in on that one, as long as he's not fighting in other MMA leagues, I don't see a problem with it, Sambo is Fedor's lifeblood, so taking that away from him is like taking Natty light off the shelves to Kyle.

No, but that is just how Dana is. Most of the other orgs have no problem doing cross promotions and scheduling the best fights period, but then again UFC is the only one is thriving. Dana wants to set up the best matchups, but only in the interest of UFC, not the fans.

I love the Sherdog forums, Silva puts on a clinic against the former LHW champ and suddenly Forrest isn't that good. I swear that everything thread should be "Fedor, save us!"

Either way, I think the guy has finally shown a lot of people that he is a serious contender for whatever he wants to do. For the past 2 years the rap has been "He cuts so much weight before the fight then balloons up before the fight so it's unfair" tonight he fought someone who was probably heavier than him. It sucked to see how it went down, those are my two favorite fighters, but it was like a child trying to take on an adult.

Not trying to hate, but Forrest isn't that great. He has certain fights where his peristance pays off, but he isn't a well rounded fighter like many want/think him to be.
