Why would anyone be surprised Lesnar pummeled Mir on the ground?

He has the most submission victories in the UFC/and beat lesnar the first time on the ground with a knee bar

Mir-Brazilan Ju Jitsu master
Lesnar-a big guy that lays on people

Add that up and it's simple math..wait

Well, everyone knew that Mir's gameplan was to get the fight to the ground, I just don't think it was in his gameplan to get his face pounded in until the refs took pity on him and called it. FWIW Mir talked a LOT OF SHIT on Brock, beyond the "sell the fight" he basically called the guy a fraud and talked about how he was going to expose him again.

The thing is, Lesnar is improving, he didn't let Mir have any advantages, every time he tried to do somethinhg Lesnar was patient and just adjusted him and continued to beat the crap out of him. It seems like no one respects what Brock does, he's a good wrestler and has a mean punch, combine the two, play to your strengths and see the outcome.

I like Brock, I like Fedor, I like guys who go out there and prove themselves time and time again, I would love to see Fedor in the UFC but I doubt that will ever happen. Both parties are too damned stubborn for their own good, but there's a lot of money there, and both know it. Fedor can survive without the UFC for now, maybe that will change but as it stands they keep throwing people at Fedor and he just destroys them.

Do I need to refer to Lesnar letting him stand up again really? The reason he took him to the ground is Mir hit him with a knee, and they BOTH ended up on the ground. Did you forget Lesnar knocked him down in the previous fight?

Brock took him down 30 seconds into the fight. You can nullify BJJ with good wrestling. Lesnar's goal in every fight should be to get his opponent in half guard up against the fence.

Mir was going down regardless there.

Once again..So Mir and lesnar weren't standing up when he got hit with the knee? Lesnar took him to the ground? Damn to me it looks like Mir hit the ground first from an unbalanced knee I already stated.

So to the experts, reset what you think the heavyweight rankings are now (in UFC, Fedor is the best but he's not in UFC)

1. Lesnar
2. Kimbo Slice (:slappy: just kidding)
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?

Cain? Corwin? Who? Is Mir still up there somewhere even though he got beast-fucked since he beat him before?
